From this year onwards, distinct characters became increasingly important in the works of Crystal Hung. The animals in her imaginary world became bigger and started to explore their lush environment with more confidence and a sense of purpose. No longer tiny flecks in an overwhelmingly large world, they were now intrepid travelers on a wondrous journey.
Little Red Rosie, who would go on to become Crystal’s most recognizable and endearing character, came into existence, literally peeking out of a tiny window into a complex and colorful world in one of her first appearances.
